The power of intermittent fasting.

I went from suffering with fibroids to no pain and better management of  7menstrual cycles, painful cramps and anemia are some of the main triggers of fibroids. 

The root cause of fibroids is driven by the female hormone estrogen and somehow the excess estrogen is not being eliminated or over produced. Intermittent fasting is the best initial way to address my toxic diet to help balance the high estrogen level.

Intermittent fasting is a way to eliminate from the liver, kidneys, lungs and bloodstream. It’s also the most effective and safest way to increase elimination of wastes and buildup while enhancing the body’s self repairing in the self healing process.

I do a liquid fast for 16hrs and eat within 8 hours daily. After 30 days of consistency, I noticed a decrease in bloating and increase in energy .The liver regulates the amount of estrogen.  It transforms or removes any excess from the body. If the liver cannot do this properly, there is the risk of hormonal imbalances. Intermittent fasting Is a way to give the liver a rest and reset to work efficiently.

At the start of intermittent fasting, you may experience dramatic changes (cleansing and healing crises) as accumulated wastes are expelled. Also, you may experience temporary symptoms like, headaches, body odor, fatigue as your body continues to self cleanse and rebuild. It was a struggle at the start of my initial fast, but after a week or so I noticed gradual improvement. Being patient and consistent made a huge difference. My first 30 days of intermittent fasting entailed a diet of raw fresh veggies and fruits, as well as 8-10 glasses of water daily.  After 30 days, I returned to my plant based diet which is cooked veggies, fruit and whole grains..  Intermittent fasting is now a part of my lifestyle, where I continue to follow the 8 and 16 hour rule. More energy and less GI issues has given me motivation to continue. Fasting is a great way to help boost the liver to work more efficiently which can balance hormones and provide fibroid relief.
