Ringing in Self-Care for the New Year

Struggling with fibroids can be incredibly draining, so I want to give you a reminder to take a moment for yourself. Do some deep breathing exercises. Practice yoga. Make yourself a clean veggie-filled meal to enjoy. Take a walk around your block to get some fresh air and sunshine. Do what you have to do for YOU in order to make this day a little more manageable for yourself. Remember, you are enough just as you are.
To help you out – I have a few questions for you to take a second and think over. You can think about the answers in your head or write them out in a journal, whichever you prefer.
Sit with these answers for a moment and see what you can do to shift your day in a positive way.
All it takes is one step every day. You don’t need to do it all at once. In fact, I recommend that you don’t in order to not overwhelm yourself. Meeting yourself with compassion is the way to go, especially if you’re dealing with a hormonal imbalance and fibroids. Some days are harder than others. I get that. I’ve been there. And I still take time for myself throughout the day. Even if it helps just a little, it’s worth it.
